Kim grew up in Southern Illinois, the middle of five girls and a daughter of a LCMS pastor. Her love for leading worship sparked in her late 20s as she felt the Lord calling her to serve using her talents through mission work, songwriting, and worship. Kim has been leading worship for over 15 years. Her experience ranges from church planting to leading in large churches, but her passion is to use music as a way to serve and disciple others to know Jesus more and to seek Him and His kingdom first.

Kim has been marred to Brian for 16 years and they have a 4-year-old son, Tate, and their newly adopted son, Boone.  They also have two fur kids, Gibson and Willa May.
